July 2014, Ashihara Karate Romania, reunion after 28 years!!!

Some of the same students training on a cement floor in 1986 (see photo from a Japanese Karate magazine) got together after 28 years to share good old memories.

Missing from both pictures is our teacher Mircea Carloganu, who inspired us in those early years.

I will never forget the smell of the dust from the cement floor and the hard core training sessions in the dark.

These years built our character and created friendships lasting over the years and continents, since from our small dojo we spread all over the world.
